The exteriors of the 18/10 stainless steel pots and pans feature a handsome brushed finish, while the interiors are mirror-polished for non-reactive, quick release of foods. The tri-ply Heat Surround technology sandwiches an aluminum core in the base and side walls for superior, even heating. You'll also find solid cast stainless-steel handles that stay cool on the stovetop, tight-fitting stainless-steel lids, and drip-free pouring rims. Each piece is oven-safe to 500 degrees F, and the pans are safe for broiler-use, too. This fabulous set consists of basics and more. The 1-1/2- and 3-quart saucepans with lids take care of everything from oatmeal to béchamel sauce, and the veggie steamer insert with its own lid fits the larger saucepan. Good Cookware, Good Price March 9, 2010

I received this cookware about two months ago. Now that I have had a chance to cook with them I am very pleased with the performance. They cook evenly and heat up quickly. The weight of the cookware is good, they feel very solid. The cookware is good looking cookware too. I researched many different cookware sets and this set always got a very high customer rating and I see why. The handles remain cool and the lids fit very nicely on the pots. The only thing that I have found which is a little annoying is the cookware and lids have an edge that is a little sharp. One time I was scrubbing the pots and my thumb pressed up against the side of the pan it practically gave me a "paper cut" since then I have been more careful when cleaning the cookware. This is a minor annoyance and I just have to pay a little more attention, but now that I am aware of it I doubt I will cut my thumb again on the rim. Over all I am very pleased with this cookware and would recommend to friends and family who were looking purchase a good stainless steel cookware set. Very good quality for the price. I will be cooking with these for years to come.

I did a lot of research before deciding to buy the Cuisinart Multiclad Pro set. Even after all the favorable reviews I read about the cookware, I still wasn't prepared for the outstanding quality of the utensils when I first unpacked them! The quality construction is apparent in the appearance and the heft of each item. What I especially appreciate are the handles. They are comfortable and large enough for a man's hand but not so large that when using a towel or pot holder that they become unwieldy. I enjoy using them and know they will last a long time.
What frustrated me about this transaction however, is that immediately after I ordered the set, Amazon dropped the price by about $15.00. Before the package arrived, I emailed Amazon to inquire about receiving the new lower price. I received the somewhat patronizing response: " I'm sure it's disappointing to see the lower price on the Cuisinart Multiclad Pro Stainless-Steel 12-Piece Cookware Set you recently purchased. Our prices regularly change, and the price you paid when your order shipped on January 24 was the lowest price we were able to offer at the time." At amny of the store I frequent, if the price should drop within a week of your purchase, they will honor the lower price by providing a refund or a credit. Not so with Amazon.
Again, I love the cookware, I just wish I had gotten the lower price to make the deal that much sweeter!
